Apple-Orange Stuffing
10 slices white bread torn in small pieces
1 1/2 cups diced unpeeled apple
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 cup orange juice
1 cup light brown sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 teaspoons grated orange rind
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
In large mixing bowl combine bread, apple, walnuts and celery. Blend together orange juice, brown sugar, egg, orange rind, salt and pepper. Pour over bread mixture, tossing lightly until all ingredients are moistened. Stuff bird or bake in dish for 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees.
